1. Who we are

BookB is operated by Mando Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17168657) with its registered office at 10 Pilgrims Walk, Worthing BN13 1RJ, United Kingdom. You can contact us at admin@bookb.co.uk. These terms form the agreement between you and us when you use bookb.co.uk.

2. What BookB is

BookB is a digital library. We publish original books that are written by artificial intelligence and reviewed before publication — we state this openly on every book page. You can buy individual titles or subscribe for access to the whole library, read books in our web reader, and download copies in the formats we make available.

3. Your account

You need an account to buy or read books. You must give us accurate details, keep your password secure, and not share your account beyond your own personal use. You are responsible for activity that happens under your login. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.

4. Subscriptions, renewals and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, as chosen) until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep full access until then. We do not charge cancellation fees. If a renewal payment fails and cannot be collected, your subscription access will end. The Founder plan is a one-off payment, not a renewing subscription.

5. One-off purchases

When you buy an individual book, you get ongoing access to that title in your BookB account, including the web reader and download options, for as long as we operate the service. Prices are shown in pounds sterling at the point of purchase.

6. Your licence

Books and other content on BookB are licensed, not sold. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read and download content for your own private, non-commercial use. You must not redistribute, resell, publish, scrape or bulk-download content, or use it to train machine-learning systems. Copyright and all other rights remain with Mando Systems Ltd.

7. AI-generated content

Our books are written by AI and reviewed before publication. We work to make them genuinely useful and accurate, but they are general-interest publications: nothing on BookB is professional advice, and you should not rely on any book as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional in medicine, law, finance or any other regulated field.

8. Your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If content is faulty, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and where that is not possible, to a price reduction which can be up to the full price. Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory rights. Cancellation and refund rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are set out in our Refund Policy.

9. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms, and we are not liable for business losses — BookB is a consumer service for private use.

10. Changes to the service and these terms

We may update the service and these terms from time to time. If we make a material change to the terms, we will give reasonable notice by email or on the site. If you keep using BookB after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — though if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
